at Jelly Open Studios

many thanks to the visitors of the Studios Open Day at Jelly  last Saturday, very nice meeting you and chatting with you. Hope you enjoyed the event and the exhibited work.
The work will be still displayed at the studio so if you didn't manage to come last Saturday just let me know and I'll be more than happy to arrange ad hoc visits.
Of course in addition to act as a gallery, shoots still take place at the studio as normal, so just let me know.
Finally many thanks to Vicky Slater Photography for allowing me to exhibit her work too. Her images will be available to view at the studio until Friday this week.

I don't normally do weddings... really!!!

but this was a different one, and pretty cool too. Back in February a couple got in touch with me and we met to talk about photographing their wedding. The happy couple had some specific requirements on the photos they wanted for their special day and this is why they called me and why I loved this. I will not show you any photos of flowers and glasses and cakes and bunting and cute flower girls and candles and everything else that is super cute at weddings. I will show you what actually is the best part of any wedding: their people

3rd Thursday - February 2011

In February I had again the pleasure of photographing this popular monthly appointment with representatives of the local art and creative areas. The focus was this time on the group of artists known as Caversham Artists, who gave visitors to the event a preview of the work on display at their forthcoming studio trail and demonstrations of how they work.

The show made again good use of some of the empty shops in town centre exploiting potential that otherwise would remain unused. As always the event was excellently organised and run by the people at Jelly.
